just to make sure, does the track have to exactly fit the video posted? as in from the start of the credits to the end of the scene?

Wikipedia wrote:A film score is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack[...], and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.

So basically it's totally up to you
You can just go for the vibe of the scene, or you can follow action more directly.

I think i'm gonna to upload them to YouTube, but not sure what would be the best: ask all of you to send an mp4 / avi /mpg / fitevs or just the mp3 as usual and i could export them with the video. Maybe the second option sounds better, because that way the video and the sound quality would be the same, but for example its possible that your track starts only when the scene fades in, other tune starts during the main title, so dunno :?

Another thing: i'm too planning to submit a track (to meself haha), lemme know if anyone has any objection!

i understand what i need to make, just werent sure on the duration or if it had to be done for the credits too. just recorded some stuff, going to be very experimental i think.
i'll probably sync up the video and audio in soundforge, though some people won't be able to, so i think it should be open. and i have no objections to that at all.
