Might have a go with this then :D

Have really bad writers block at the moment ( :'( ) so this might give me something to work with :)

One question, if I download the samples but really can't get anything and don't enter, is it cool to keep the pack and use the samples in other tunes? :P

i think most of the samples are from sampleswap.org and they are (in theory) under public domain and royalty-free (but there is no guarantee) dunno about the rest but i reckon Matt/M@B won't mind if u use his samples from this pack

Cheers man,

After posting I grabbed em then spotted the info document :)

About entering the comp I am not sure yet! I kinda got something cool going earlier but is in really early stages, knowing me I certainly wouldn't get it done in time haha

Cheers :)

I do not mind if anyone wants to use these samples in other works, but I would only worry about the samples denoted under the Sampling + license because they say that they no longer use this kind of license. The website most of the samples are from is http://www.freesound.org.

ahh freesound.org. not sampleswap sorry :)

you can use the samples as described in the Sample+ licence here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/
it's basically similar to the attribution noncommercial lincence, but u can't use it to advertise anything with it.
even if it's a retired licence "any existing work licensed under these licenses will continue to maintain the same license"

I think I am going to have to say that I may not be entering this comp...

Nice set of samples, having a lot of fun with this. The reference doc is also appreciated.

!!!!

All week I've been thinking "I'm sure there's something I need to do by the 20th" and I've just realised it's this. Lol I knew I'd forget till the last moment. Hopefully get time to start it tomorrow!
