trouble with soundcloud, am i alone?

I can't upload anything, can't play any song, can just change webpage. any help, any one got the same problem??

looks ok here just now, but in general its gettin worst, page is down once in a week, or cannae upload anything, so nope you are not alone

(I was actually thinking about writing an email, telling them that its very probable that i wont buy a premium account next year, because its not a reliable service. And im paying enought to expect it to work.)

Only problem I've had recently is it wouldn't post a few comments on some tracks. Then again for the time being I only really use my soundcloud to listen to other people's stuff.

Yh the new soundcloud beta has loads of issues like not being able to comment on peoples stuff, so i switched back to classic soundcloud which has all the old issues...

I'm so tempted to create some new audio-sharing kinda website man soundcloud is so infuriating and in terms of user customisation and searching and just general functionality its crap

I have no idea how to make a website, deal with servers etc. although i wish i did! The only reason i wrote that is cos i cant believe soundcloud is the world's most used platform for uploading music.. Its utter shite when you think what that sorta website could do.

The beta looks like a great improvement lets hope its stable and doesn't just look better!

TBH i got a lotta beef with the beta too.. Whilst it looks nicer functionality is still fairly poor, as is browsing. And some of the decisions like the set thing just seem slightly weird to me. Oh well.. theres no other option (I wish there was another option)

Definitely send any feedback if you have any, they are likely to flag up repeated opinions. Before the beta came out I emailed them to suggest a new feature, they said they'd forward it to the relevant dept:

"Track linking" so if you and another producer collaborate, instead of both of you uploading the same track and having two versions of the same song on each others profile, one of you uploads it and you "link" it to another user / follower. They are notified of the link and once accepted the upload shows up on both your profiles and you share the access rights, comments, track favourites etc.
